The contact form

If you complete our contact form, we process the subject of your enquiry, your company name, name, position, email address, phone number and message. We use this information solely to answer your question and to prepare any follow-up.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining business contact, and once an engagement follows, the performance of our agreement with you. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to handle your enquiry.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact enquiries for 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep our records for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Who we share your data with

We share your data with our website host and our email provider, with our accountant once an engagement follows, and with subcontractors or partners insofar as this is necessary to carry out an engagement. Where legally required or where it forms part of the engagement, we share data with Dutch Customs or other competent authorities. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Our contact form is protected against misuse and spam by Google reCAPTCHA. In doing so, Google may process technical information about your visit, including your IP address, on servers in the United States.

Website statistics

Our website builder, JouwWeb, keeps statistics on the use of this website: numbers of visitors and page views, the country or city a visit comes from, the device used and the referring website. Your IP address is processed for this purpose. We use this information only to understand how the site is used and to improve it; we do not link it to individuals and we do not use it for advertising. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a properly functioning website.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to object to processing or request that it be restricted. Send your request to peter@it-customs.nl; we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
